Glossary launched

On Monday, October 15, 2007, Autism Speaks and First Signs launched the ASD Video Glossary, a Web based tool containing over a hundred video clips designed to help parents and professionals learn more about the early red flags and diagnostic features of autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Visual Development Centers @ CARD

The FSU/Tallahassee CARD Office has 3 computers set up in 2 visual support areas. These centers are open FREE of charge to constituents, parents, or other professionals working with CARD clients. The FSU CARD offices provide one-on-one assistance for creating visual supports. Those of you more familiar with our visual center and programs and do not need assistance, are also welcome to come in and use the centers. Please call to schedule an appointment BEFORE coming to ensure availability and that someone can assist you if needed.

FALL TRAINING SERIES

All CARD workshops require registration to ensure enough space and handouts for all participants.  When registering, please note what session time you would like to attend.   Please contact Karen Williams at (850) 215-4330 or kwilliams@pc.fsu.edu for more information or to register for workshops.  All FSU CARD workshops are FREE unless otherwise stated.  The workshops will not take place unless a minimum of 5 participants is registered one week prior to the date of the event.  CARD is also available for trainings for agencies, schools, organizations, or support groups upon request.  Please call CARD at (850) 215-4330 for more information.
